[Mino ware] In the Tono region, located in the southeastern part of Gifu Prefecture, a wide variety of pottery is produced, centered around Toki City, and these are collectively known as ``Mino ware.'' Mino ware, supported by a long history of over 1,300 years, tradition and culture, accounts for over 50% of the national share in tableware production, and it is no exaggeration to say that it is representative of Japanese pottery. Mino ware is a pottery that is used casually in daily life and has become a part of our lives without us even realizing it. "Mino ware" has been handed down in the Tono region for a long time. These crafts are the result of the high-quality clay produced in the Toki River basin and the passion of potters who were quick to incorporate cutting-edge technology and pursue unique manufacturing methods. [Precautions for use] Because gold arabesque Buddhist utensils are made of ceramics, handling them is as easy as handling regular tableware. Please wash your hands gently using dish detergent. No special detergents or polishes are required. The real gold (all gold) part is baked into the ceramic at a high temperature of about 700 degrees, so it will not peel off even if you rub it a little, but please avoid using hard sponges, scrubbers, abrasives, dishwashers, etc.
