A United States Marine, he met Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) during a mission and became his best friend. He subsequently supported Tony and fought alongside him on every front, and upon Tony's death, he assumed the role of Iron Man and became a hero. However, Tony was found to be still alive, so Rhodes handed over the role and embarked on a new path as a hero himself, becoming War Machine. Based on the character design from the comics, War Machine is recreated as a high-end 1/6-scale figure, standing approximately 32 cm tall and featuring over 30 points of articulation.
