Main Characters: Kenzo Tenma (a former neurosurgeon pursuing "Johan" while being pursued for a crime he did not commit), Johan Liebert (a Munich University student; his twin brother, whose life Tenma saved), and Nina Fortner (Johan's twin sister, seeking to eliminate him). Synopsis: Richard was once a distinguished detective. However, after getting drunk on the job and shooting a serial killer, he lost his job and his family. He is currently undergoing counseling with psychiatrist Reichwein, attempting to move past his past. However, the serial killer he shot remains haunting him... (Episode 1). Karl, a Munich University student, works part-time once a week reading Latin books for his father, Schubart. One day, when Schubart compliments his reading, Karl reveals that he is being taught by Johan. He then asks, "What would you do if Johann were your real son?" Seeing Schubart, who rarely smiles, smile, Karl becomes jealous of Johann... (Episode 2). Main Features of This Volume: The three murders that Richard investigated during his time as a detective were intended to "leave Schubart alone." Richard discovers this, but suddenly dies mysteriously. Meanwhile, Johann, still a student, approaches Schubart and rises to become his right-hand man...
