Product Introduction
The "Sugashima"-class was a wooden minesweeper, twelve of which were built between 1999 and 2007. Their mine warfare equipment was newly developed and imported.
Externally, they were unique among JMSDF minesweepers in that they featured two parallel funnels.
This kit recreates the unique "Sugashima"-class design, distinguishing them from other JMSDF minesweepers, with features such as the twin funnels and a bridge located toward the center of the hull.
Includes decals for the ship numbers and names of all 12 boats: Sugashima, Notojima, Tsunoshima, Naoshima, Toyoshima, Ukushima, Izushima, Aishima, Aoshima, Miyajima, Shishijima, and Kuroshima.
Includes two boats.
