Product Introduction
The Imperial Navy Series "Fast Battleship Kongo" is being reissued with a two-piece 25mm machine gun!
The Kongo was completed in August 1913 by Vickers in the UK, with its first refit completed in 1931 and its second refit completed in 1937.
It participated in the bombardment of Henderson Field, the Third Battle of the Solomon Islands, the Battle of the Philippine Sea, and the Battle of Leyte Gulf, among other battles.
This is a reissue of the previously available "Imperial Navy Series" with a ship's bottom.
The product features a full hull that reproduces the ship's bottom, and includes a display stand for display after completion.
The lower hull is constructed from a single molded part, with the propeller and rudder separate.
The six 25mm twin machine guns are available in both the traditional one-piece construction and a more precise two-piece construction.
The 25mm machine guns are constructed in two pieces, allowing for easy painting of the gunmetal barrel and the hull color of the base.
The aircraft's molding color has been changed from clear to gray for ease of assembly.
Decals featuring the aircraft's Japanese flag and other national flags are included.
This product is made in Japan.
This is a plastic model kit that requires assembly.
