This may damage the pedal. The warranty also applies to this product only. The KIP-001 is high voltage, low loss, and designed with the top of the case as a heat sink. Therefore, the amount of heat transfer is large under heavy loads. When operating under heavy loads, the top of the case can reach a considerable temperature. However, this is not a product defect. The KIP-001 is fully isolated, so it can handle a current draw of 1,000 mA using a current doubler or daisy chain cable, but the top of the case may become hot. We do not recommend using it with products that draw a large amount of current, especially those that use a large capacity adapter in the included adapter (e.g., HX STOMP-3A, etc.).
