AQ LABRADOR 26 MKIII A three-way bass reflex speaker inspired by the legendary L26 – the absolute best-selling product in the Labrador series. The housing is made of a combination of MDF and chipboard.. Excellent stiffness is achieved by combining flat and cross stiffeners, of course the front panel is made using the sandwich method. Rigidity and vibration resistance is one of the pillars of the L26 MKIII's sound quality. A pair of Scan-Speak woofers with large 8" glass fiber cones, precisely symmetrical rubber curtains and a powerful magnet on a solid basket are another essential element to achieve a strong and accurate bass. The bass reflex is located on the front panel, which makes it possible to place the speaker on top against a wall without significant distortion of the voice. The center speaker uses the same components as the bass, rigid aluminum basket, rubber hinge, linear magnetic motor, low-mass carbon fiber woven cones. It is also a product from the Danish company Scan-Speak. The speaker is stored in a separate damping zone, which is part of the internal stiffening. The highest frequencies are reproduced by a 1″ tweeter with a soft fabric dome and ferrofluid, which is one of the best models from Vifa. The electronic crossover converter, manufactured using the D2D method with the use of precision rolled polyester capacitors applied to the carrier panel, tries to divide the functions..
