Lens Compatibility Note: Nikon G-type lenses do not have an aperture ring; however, the adapter is able to mechanically open and close the lens diaphragm using the aperture control lever found on the rear of most Nikon lenses. The adapter is also backwards compatible with older Nikon F-mount lenses. This adapter will not work with Nikon AF-P lenses. Adapting lenses from 35mm to medium format may cause vignetting due to the image circle not being large enough. This is a manual adapter, so lens functions that rely on electronic communication with the camera body (autofocus, AE metering, image stabilization, etc.) will be disrupted. We state “infinity focus allowed” because our adapters are designed to be universal which can prevent some lenses from focusing to infinity at the infinity mark.
