Brake fluid should not contain more than 1.5% water. First start-up: To perform a fluid quality test, turn on the device using the button on the top - like in a pen.. Then remove the lower cover and place the tester tip (two pins) in the brake fluid reservoir. Reading the indications:

Green diode - brake fluid does not contain water Yellow diode - less than 1% water in the system Two yellow diodes - 2% water in the system (content within normal limits) Red diode - 3% water in the system (recommended fluid change) Two red diodes - more than 4% water in the system (brake fluid to be replaced)
