The SVAJ701 is equipped with an NFC (a short-range wireless communication technology approved as an international standard) communication function, and measurement data can be transferred to a computer and managed simply by holding the device over the separately sold NFC data communication reader (SVAZ015). This saves the trouble of transcribing measurement records and prevents mis-writing, making data management much easier. A dedicated application for data management can be downloaded for free from the SEIKO website. Transferred data is saved in CSV data format and can be processed and managed.
