Differences between 2B and HB:
2B: Softer, quieter, more damped (more friction)
HB: Both soft and hard, and the original Apple performance is exactly the same.
TPE material, softer and more wear-resistant, and provides 2 kinds of softness;
2B softness is 90°-95°,
HB softness is 115°-120°.
(Other brands use a single plastic, the hardness is about 180°)
Tips:
Apple’s official nib: double-layer design, the inner layer is made of ABS material, and the outer layer is made of TPE material.
Original Apple pen tip: There is also a retractable high-frequency signal antenna inside the pen tip to ensure that the writing is not delayed and the line is continuous.Sensitively sense the pressure and angle changes, which is convenient for you to draw different lines and shadows.
Outer layer is divided into two kinds of hardness: the outer layer of 2B is softer, which is closer to the effect of writing on paper; the outer layer of HB is slightly harder, and the writing is smoother.
Only the official nib uses the TPE soft outer layer, which will not scratch the screen and is more durable.
