Instructions for use
<u>Preparation</u> :pour the contents of a sachet of descaler (15 g) in a container containing 500 ml of lukewarm water ; stir the solution until the powder is completely dissolved.
The descaling and rinsing procedure varies depending on the appliance to be cleaned.
<u>For an electric kettle</u> :pour the solution into the kettle. Start it then stop it before the solution boils. Leave the descaling solution to act for 20 minutes. Empty the kettle. Carry out 2 successive rinses with clear water from the tank to remove traces of the descaling solution.
<u>For a filter coffee machine</u> :Place the empty jug under the coffee spout. Turn on the device and leave half of the solution (250 ml) flow into the jug. Wait and let the solution act for around ten minutes. Once the time has elapsed, turn the device back on and run in the rest of the solution. Then, rinse the water tank with plenty of clean water if it is removable to remove all traces of descaling solution.. Fill the water tank with clear water up to the “max” level mark. Place the jug back under the coffee spout/Turn on the machine and let all the rinsing water drain out. Repeat the operation again. Rinse the jug and the filter holder with clean water.
<u>For an iron</u> :Make sure the water tank is empty and the iron is unplugged. Pour the solution into the iron reservoir. Put your device in the steam position, as soon as the temperature is reached, press the steam trigger several times over a used cloth. Then, unplug your iron and leave it to act for around twenty minutes.. Reconnect the iron, repeat the procedure again until the tank is empty, then unplug the iron. To rinse the iron reservoir, repeat the previous operation, but this time with clean water until the water coming out is clear again.
<u>For a steam generator</u> :Attention : Do not use this product if your steam generator does not have a drain plug allowing you to drain your boiler tank.
Pour the solution into the boiler tank of the power plant. Stir the base of the steam generator for 2 minutes to diffuse the product and leave the solution to act for 2 hours. Unscrew the drain plug and empty the descaling solution. Pour clean water (250 ml) in the boiler of the device. Stir the base of your unit, unscrew the drain plug and empty the rinse water from your boiler : the residual tartar is then evacuated. Repeat the rinsing operation again.
