Description:
- This method of queen introduction allows a quiet and natural way, allowing the Queen more freedom of movement but still without allowing the queen to be damaged or feel attacked.
- Directions for use:
- Fill the candy area with dry candy. Remove the queen that has to be changed from the colony.
- Choose a frame of Sealed brood, remove all the bees from the frame and fix the cage over a patch of brood. Introduce the queen through the hole and close it with the caps, the queen will start to lay eggs in any free cells.
- After 2 days, the candy will have been eaten away and the queen is released to the rest of the hive.
- Check and remove the cage after 8-10 days from installation. Keep a gap of 1cm between the cage and the other frames in order for the bees to have contact with each other.
