Okuma Epixor XT - For 2018, Okuma has announced a new line of spinning reels based on the innovative new C-40X technology. An additional small capacity spool can be purchased separately, making it easier to use thin lines or cords. Okuma Epixor XT spinning reels are built with the new innovative C-40X technology using a higher quality composite material. Composite C-40X is lighter and more durable. Okuma Epixor XT reels feature a new, progressive braking system. A high-resolution front brake provides finer, more precise tuning. The bow mount centrifugal disc is reinforced and balanced to provide smoother bow operation. The spool foot is integral with the body, which eliminates unwanted twisting of the mechanism under load and ensures optimal transmission of torque. When the handle is rotated, the load is evenly distributed over the reel body in all directions. The cyclonic rotor drives the air flow, effectively draining the coil body.
