🪛 This is a part required when replacing a MIWA (Miwa Lock) LIX/LSP disc cylinder with a JN cylinder.
🪛Replacing the tailpiece is not always necessary. Only replace the tailpiece if you experience symptoms such as the key not being able to be removed or turned after replacing the cylinder.
Replacement is easy with just a screwdriver and needle-nose pliers. Instructions for replacement are also included, so you can rest assured.
This is an optional part required when replacing a MIWA (Miwa Lock) LIX or LSP type disc cylinder with a JN cylinder. It is not possible to determine whether a tailpiece replacement is necessary before replacing the cylinder.
